Because the Virtuoso requires no programming, there is no programming syntax to learn—nor programming errors to debug. |
Installation The Virtuoso has been engineered to be much easier to install than traditional systems. All components, including the fiber optic connections, are plug and play so you can throw your soldering iron away. The use of I/O Distribution Panels substantially reduces wiring times. And because the Virtuoso generally uses smaller components and connections than older systems, it’s much easier to fit Virtuoso components into tight spaces inside the console and organ chambers. Configuration Since all organ configuration within the Virtuoso is table driven, the Virtuoso software never changes. No programming is required to configure an organ controlled by the Virtuoso. Configuration is simply a matter of completing a supplied spreadsheet. Changing the organ’s configuration is a simple download from a personal computer or compact flash memory card. Even complex composite stops can be easily configured in this manner. The Virtuoso configuration consistency checker automates the review of the organ configuration table, performing more than 100 logical consistency checks to ensure faster, trouble-free installation. |
