Dwight Jones, President & CEO

Company founder and CEO Dwight Jones has enjoyed a long career in electronics and sound, beginning at Bell Labs in 1970 as a radar and signal-processing engineer. Over the course of his distinguished career, Dr. Jones, an electrical engineering Ph.D., has served as the head of product development, research and development, president and CEO of a variety of high-tech companies, including venture-funded startups and multi-national corporations.

Dr. Jones has enjoyed a life-long passion for the pipe organ, installing a 31-rank instrument in his home in 1985. Some years later, unsatisfied by the control systems available on the market, he founded IOTI to utilize his knowledge of electronics and software to bring to market a product that would delight organ builders and organists alike.

Robert Jones, Director

Bert Jones is a private venture investor with more than 20 years of experience in creating, funding, operating and growing software businesses. He is the principal of Mebane Ventures, a venture fund supplying capital, management, and marketing expertise to emerging businesses. He shares the same passion for the pipe organ as the company's other principals, though at a somewhat less accomplished level.

From 1988 to 1995, Mr. Jones funded and was president of Strategic Solutions Group, Inc., a company providing automated loan-by-phone decisioning services to financial institutions. In 1995, Strategic Solutions was sold to a public company.

After graduating from business school, Mr. Jones joined Deloitte Haskins & Sells in Houston, where he provided consulting services to emerging businesses. He holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing from the University of Texas and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Trinity University.

Maynard Fitch, Hardware Engineer

Maynard Fitch joined IOTI after more than 30 years of previous experience in the electronics industry, where he has been responsible for oversight of electronic hardware from concept to design to production. His design experience includes work at both the chip and board levels. In addition he has deep experience in printed circuit board layout design. Some of Mr. Fitch’s designs are included in products such as telephony boards that operated in both personal computers and industrial warehouse systems. He also has designed boards for personal computer “watchdog” applications.

Mr. Fitch received his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology from Southern Polytechnic State University in Marietta, Georgia.

Steve Mobley, System Engineer

Steve Mobley is a talented software and hardware designer and developer with more than 35 years of experience as a Design Engineer, System Engineer, VP Engineering, Chief Software Architect and independent consultant. He has developed hardware and software for production monitoring equipment, telephone systems, fruit grading equipment, automotive control and rear seat entertainment, and high security commissary and accounting systems. For IOTI, Mr. Mobley focuses on hardware and fiber communications design.

Mr. Mobley attended Southern Polytechnic State University in Marietta, Georgia before being drafted. He received further training in a variety of military communications, engineering and leadership schools.
